Brentford secured a 3-2 win against Everton

Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring for his side after 10 minutes into the game. The Blues found reduced to 10 men after Jarrad Branthwaite received a red card for bringing down Ivan Toney. Wissa hit an equalizer for Brentford in the 63rd minute but within less than 2 minutes Rico Henry scored again. The match result means Everton will still require two points from their upcoming games with Crystal Palace and Arsenal to secure the spot for another season.

The home win over Brentford is the start of Lampard’s Everton tenure. But now as they make their way into the remaining matches they still need to pick up 2 points to be sure their 68-years stretch in English football remains alive.
