Brest rose to victory over Saint-Etienne

Former Huddersfield Town forward Steve Mounie helped Brest’s rout of 4-1 win against Saint-Etienne. Marking this as his third goal of the Ligue 1 season. The first half was eventful with all the goals being pulled off during that time.

Olivier Dall'Oglio's side got in the opener at the seventh minute at Stade Francis-Le Ble, with help from Franck Honorat who was assisted by Irvin Cardona. 23 minutes in the game Jean-Kevin Duverne doubled the lead but Harold Moukoudi along with Mahdi Camara scored one from Saint-Etienne’s side to reduce the lead eight minutes later. Cardona then struck once more in the 38th minute to seal Brest’s victory. This would be Brest’s second home win after they defeated Lille 3-2 before the international break climbing 12th on the table with 15 points in 11 matches and Saint-Etienne is placed fifteen with just 10 points.
