Brighton adamant to include Danny Welbeck ahead of Transfer Season

The list of players to be retained in the squad and those to be released by the Premier League clubs has been revealed. Brighton is keen to include Danny Welbeck and extend his contract ahead of the summer transfer window. The 30-year-old, who plays as a forward has made significant efforts to uplift his game by starring 14 times. His contract comes to an end by June end. Head coach Graham Potter has stated clearly, his decision about his desperation to hold on with the 42-cap England international.

Academy goalkeeper Adam Dubois, U23 midfielder Marc Leonard, 21-year-old stopper Tom McGill, 19-year-old midfielder Jack Spong, forward Ben Wilson, and attacker Lorent Tolaj have all been offered new deals. However, it is yet to be confirmed about the acceptance by these footballers with regard to the new deals.
