Brighton stunned the Champions Manchester City and beat them by 3-2 at the Amex Stadium in front of the fans. City was in control at the start when Ilkay Gundogan’s header found the back of the net and later Phil Foden’s surprising solo run in the second half extended their lead to 2-0 despite the fact that City lost Joao Cancelo to a foul just 10 minutes in.
But Seagulls fought hard with 8000 fans roaring in the background and then they staged a great comeback and finished 3-2 with Leandro Trossard and Adam Webster first leveling the score and Dan Burn scored at 76th minute to in for the first time over City since 1989. City has already grabbed the Premier League title this season and has turned their attention to the Champions league finale instead.
