Brighton goalkeeper Maty Ryan set to join Real Sociedad

Albion goalkeeper Maty Ryan is set for a return to Spain. And his likely new club want him on board as soon as possible.

The former Valencia goalkeeper is expected to sign for Real Sociedad as they prepare for a new season in LaLiga Santander and the Europa League.

La Real are keen to see him at training by the end of this week in time for their opening pre-season fixtures in mid-July.

It is not yet clear whether this would be on a permanent or loan signing but the Basque club have told their local media it could be a two-year deal.

Ryan played in World Cup qualifiers for Australia recently and has since been on holiday on the west coast of the USA.
