Brighton have seen Marc Cucurella and manager Graham Potter leave for Chelsea in a matter of months, but the Seagulls will not give up on Moises Caicedo.
The latest reports suggest that the Blues have raised their latest offer to 62 million euros, a significant figure considering Caicedo's short time in the Premier League.
The 21-year-old midfielder Caicedo is on the radar of some of Europe's top clubs. Brighton, however, want at least 80 million euros.
It looks like Chelsea will not reach that amount after dropping out of the race to sign Enzo Fernandez, with Benfica demanding more than 100 million euros to let the Argentina World Cup winner go.
