Newcastle signed Bruno Guimaraes in the £40m moves from Lyon. The Brazilian international moved to the city after being benched for a long time in Lyon. The 24-year-old midfielder even took part in Brazil’s match against Miguel Almiron’s Paraguay and enjoyed an assists in the 4-0 win. Guimaraes has arrived at Newcastle Airport ready to meet the new teammates.
He would be training with the team, before his debut in the Premier League match against Everton at St James’s Park. Guimaraes would also have Matt Targett and Dan Burn by the side making their debut next week. Newcastle United could really use three points as they plan to climb out of the bottom three in the Premier League table.
