Bundesliga leader beats Leipzig, heads to 9th straight title win

The first half goal by Leon Goretzka gave Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga leaders, enough to win over the 2nd placed RB Leipzig by a 1-0 on Saturday when they headed to being close to the 9th straight league title and opened a lead of 7 points at the top. None of the teams have lost the title after they have lead by 7 points with 7 games remaining and after the 27th matchday.

Oliver Mintzlaff, Leipzig’s head of football said that because of brutal efficiency, Bayern deserved the lead at half-time. He also added that their aim is still to qualify for the Champions League and that they will now focus on the last 7 games and that the team can still play history’s best game that the club has never played.
