Chris Wood scored the winner for Burnley who finally got their big break by winning by 1-0 against Crystal Palace. Burnley had the worst start to this season's Premier League campaign with no wins from the first seven matches they played but the New Zealand striker Wood ensured their win that put them ahead in the first half itself. With this, they get to make their out of the dangerous Relegation zone with the desperately needed three points which the win granted Fulham now take their place instead.
The absence of Ivory Coast forward Wilfried Zaha played in their favor as well after he tested positive for the virus and Roy Hodgson's side thus fell to their second defeat in just three games. Burnley has so far scored just three goals while the last one was Ashley Westwood’s goal against Newcastle.
