Third-placed Leicester salvaged a draw in the end with help from captain Kasper Schmeichel as they celebrated a point rather than a defeat in the 1-1 draw against Burnley. While Man United was also held to a draw against Crystal Palace leaving them just one point ahead of Leicester in second place and Man City still dominates at the top.
The main aim is to secure a top-four finish and enter the Champions League next season. But with the draw their hope to return to CL takes a setback as they are troubled with injuries with Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton all breathing down its neck to take their place. Foxes remain without a win for the last three matches and would be seen in action again on Thursday. From Burnley’s end, Matej Vydra scored his first goal in a year which gave his side a leg up which was neutralized by Kelechi Iheanacho in the 34th minute.
