Cadiz beats Alaves 3-1

The match took place in Andalusia and thus was least affected by the snowy storm that has taken over the country sending the Spanish League in the mayhem. Cadiz rose to victory with a 3-1 finish against Alaves at Estadio Ramon de Carranza. The hosts took an early lead with a goal by Alex Fernandez in the 15th minute since start. But a penalty by Joselu in the 23rd minute equalized the score as visitors hit back with the same force.

Later Goals by Anthony Lozano and veteran Alvaro Negredo in the 56th and 68th minute handed Cadiz a great lead over Alaves who slumped to a 1-3 loss to the host and sit 14th on the table while Cadiz is 9th on the table with 23 points from 18 matches.
