Cadiz held back Sevilla to 1-1 draw

Youssef En-Nesyri had netted earlier in the match for Sevilla but their efforts were canceled out by the visitors' strike as they give up on their La Liga title hopes this season. Struggling Cadiz left the side frustrated but Sevilla still went a one-point lead over third-placed Barcelona.

Real is at the top of the table with 78 points and also has a game in hand with a 14-point lead over Sevilla who was second on the table with 64 points. Only Barcelona has a slim chance of catching the runaway leaders as they still have five games in hand with 63 points, Real needs one more point to ensure the title this season and needs a draw against Espanyol on Saturday to make that happen.
