Cagliari salvaged a 1-1 home draw with Torino

Cagliari relied on Joao Pedro to produce a beautiful bicycle kick to rescue the team with a 1-1 draw against Torino on Monday. Pedro’s goal helped cancel out Antonio Sanabria’s own opening goal that had handed Torino a lead early in the match. Cagliari has so far won just one league match this season and the one point from the draw moves them into 18th place as they leapfrog Genoa another struggling side in the league. Torino on the other hand stays 13th on the table after the draw.

Rossoblu is desperate for more points this season but struggled to create chances on the field, but instead, Rossoblu needed to be rescued during the match with the captain’s acrobatic effort at 53 minutes and Torino still controlled the possession while Cagliari chased fruitlessly.
