Canada lose to Morocco 2-1

Canada comes undone in front of Morocco by a score of 2-1, which indicates that Les Rouges will fly home with no points in the group, but a lot of lessons and experience that will make them better on the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Canada concluded at the rock bottom of the group with a humiliating goal difference of -5, which on paper seemed to show an awful performance. Although, there was something to be proud of in how the Canadians performed, but also much more to learn from when playing in the big leagues.

The defence fell flat once more, as a poor back pass from Steven Vitoria led to the first goal, and the switching off led to the second. With a final goal difference of -5, Canada bowed out of the game altogether.
