Cedric Teuchert scored late to ensure Union won 1-0 over Leverkusen

Union Berlin defeated Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 in the Bundesliga match on Friday to take fourth place on the table. While Bayern Munich still maintains their dominance at the top followed by RB Leipzig in second and Leverkusen in third with 29 points to support their cause.

A late goal by Substitute Cedric Teuchert salvaged the match for Union Berlin in the 88th minute while Leverkusen stays without a win for four matches now. Teuchert made many attempts during the night only to be rewarded late and maintain their winning streak which stretched to six, climbing the table slowly and steadily they now proudly display 28 points on fourth. Leverkusen failed to break Union’s defense as they lost many opportunities to score during the night.
