Celta defeats Elche with Santi Mina’s double

Striker Santi Mina nets twice in the La Liga match that saw Celta Vigo beat Elche 3-1 in the Friday’s match where the talented roster attacked the other. Celta's win after the seventh attempt sees them 9th on the list and are close to the relegation zone than planned. Mina scored the opener in the 45th minute with a cross by Nolito, mina later beat the goalkeeper to score.

Aspas and Nolito, a minute later produced a great Brais Mendez setup that sees them clearly in lead before halftime. Elche scored in the second half because of an error by Celta goalkeeper Ruben Blanco, that made its way to Guido Carillo, who assisted Emiliano Rogini to score. Mina scored in the 69th minute to close out its tally for the night.
