Champions League hopes alive for Juventus after beating Inter

After a 3-2 win over the Serie A champions Inter Milan on Saturday, the hopes of Juventus of Champions League qualification are now alive. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the match’s first goal in the 24th minute after his spot-kick was saved. Most of the second half was spent with 10 men and the result took Juventus into 4th place with one match remaining. Also, if Fiorentina loses on Sunday, Napoli will knock back the Turin club into 5th position.

The match was dominated by the VAR decisions and both the teams were given the first-half penalties. The rebound by Ronaldo kept Juventus ahead and soon after that, Romelu Lukaku got the penalty for Inter Milan. Juventus was back in lead by halftime after the goal by Juan Cuadrado. Also, his brace helped Juventus win over the champions.
