Chelsea and West Ham clashed on Saturday for the battle of Top four and Chelsea came out on the better side with a 1-0 finish over West Ham and boost their chances of finishing fourth in the Premier League this season. Timo Werner put an end to his goal drought finally but scoring for the side for the second time in the season. He had scored his first goal on 7th November and after an underwhelming first season at Chelsea, he struck again against West Ham.
The German striker struck from a close range to race towards the Champions League qualification with just five matches left in the league. They are now three points ahead of West Ham and are four points ahead of Liverpool who are sixth on the table after their draw.
