Chelsea claimed victory with a 6-0 win over Saints in Premier League

Chelsea was seen back in form as Timo Werner and Mason Mount scored two goals each. Further, two more first-half strikes were secured by Marcos Alonso and Kai Havertz, giving their side a glorious win 6-0 over Southampton on Saturday. Chelsea shot up with a lead of 1-0 in the eighth minute as Alonso gave his first league goal since the opening day of the campaign at St Mary’s Stadium. Chelsea's scorer, Mount went to equal his tally of nine goals from the previous campaign.  

Mount said that it would give his team the confidence to get back to winning and experience that feeling. He had said earlier that every game is a final and for them, it started with this match. He added that they need to go ahead with such fascinating plays. This was a perfect bliss for Chelsea after being thrashed by Real Madrid 3-1 in the opening leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
