Chelsea defeated Brighton by 3-1

Taking on such high-profile players, Chelsea blazed past Brighton with ease, with Jorginho’s penalty shoot, Reece James’s top-corner shoot and Kurt Zouma’s score. The Blues celebrated a 3-1 victory over Brighton in Premier League.

In the New Recruit Section, Germany striker Timo Werner wreaked havoc on the field with his pace. Leandro Trossard tried to overwhelm Chelsea but couldn't. Kai Havertz’s league debut was overshadowed by others. Ruben Loftus-Cheek struggled as well.

Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, and other recruits are yet to feature but would definitely add more fluency and improve the defensive game. Brighton’s lineup featured Aaron Connolly but could not match Frank Lampard’s team.
