Chelsea announced, in the form of a statement issued through official platforms, on Wednesday, that it has moved forward with the resignation of Damian Willoughby, a man elected by the new owner, Todd Boehly, to occupy the position of commercial director, less than a month ago.
The dismissal comes after the British newspaper The Telegraph made public allegations that the person responsible (who had previously worked at the club between 2007 and 2010) had sexually harassed Catalina Kim, a financial agent, during the blues acquisition process.
It all started in July, when the businesswoman, mandated by foreign tycoons, opened a dialogue with the now president for business, Tom Glick, to show interest in investing hundreds of millions of euros in the club.
