Chelsea secures first signing for 2023/23

Chelsea will have reached a total agreement with Leipzig with a view to the permanent transfer of Christopher Nkunku, who will thus become the first reinforcement of the coach, Graham Potter, for 2023/24.

The news is advanced by the British newspaper Daily Mail, which reports an understanding valued at around 53 million pounds - 60.7 million euros - which will only come into force from next summer.

The French international himself will also have already given his 'yes' to the contract he will sign, at Stamford Bridge, and carried out the usual medical examinations, so the expectation is that everything will be made official soon.

Trained at Paris Saint-Germain, the 25-year-old forward arrived at the emblem of Red Bull's 'universe' in 2019, in exchange for 13 million euros.
