Chelsea won't give up on signing Sevilla defender

Sevilla risks losing its defensive base this summer. The good results of the Spanish emblem led several clubs to want to take Diego Carlos and Jules Koundé. The Brazilian already has a clear exit and the Frenchman should follow in his footsteps.

The press says that Chelsea have not given up or lost any intention of signing Koundé this summer. The fact that Diego Carlos has already agreed to leave for Aston Villa, which could put Sevilla on edge about accepting another deal, does not make the blues uneasy.

The same press writes that Chelsea is just waiting for the end of the sanctions applied to Roman Abramovich to proceed with the signing. Even if that period does not arrive, most likely Koundé could become the first signing of the new owners of the club.

Koundé played 44 games this season for Sevilla.
