Chelsea would face Brentford without six important players

Chelsea would be making a comeback after the International break and face Brentford in their first match on Saturday. The table-toppers though would not have the full squad with them, with their new recruit Romelu Lukaku and five other players set to miss the fixture. Chelsea’s players took quite a hit during this international break, with Lukaku’s injury that would hit Stamford Bridge quite hard this season.

Blues have performed well so far they sit at the top of the table giving away just three goals in the past seven matches, with just one loss to title defenders Manchester City so far. Chelsea is making a play for their sixth Premier League title but the only cause of concern is that injuries are piling up against the star-studded squad. Aside from Lukaku, Antonio Rudiger, Thiago Silva, Reece James, N'Golo Kante, and Christian Pulisic are all sidelined for the upcoming match.
