Chelsea's crisis intensified on Monday night following elimination from the FA Cup after a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Following the 6-0 thrashing suffered against Manchester City in their most recent Premier League outing, the pressure was on Maurizio Sarri and his team to prove their doubters wrong. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men put in an assured display to make the last eight of the FA Cup.
The Red Devils were also coming into the knockout match after a defeat, against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 first leg. Paul Pogba, who saw red against the Parisians, began with a peach of a cross which found Ander Herrera, who scored for 1-0.
The Frenchman went from provider to scorer just before the break to double Manchester United's lead. After the hiccup against PSG, Solskjaer's revolution at United continues, while Sarri's problems at Chelsea worsen.
