City gets a triple boost before Everton match

Pep Guardiola’s Man City would be a better shape as they return to the Premier League fixture after the international break. Any chance of building on the momentum was put to rest with the triple international break the clubs had to deal with already this season. The Premier League season would now go on uninterrupted for the next four months and give way to the next champion of England.

City’s Ferran Torres did pick up a foot injury while on International duty and Jack Grealish and Cole Palmer were sent back with fitness issues. Other than that most of the squad would be available for the Everton clash, even the likes of Raheem Sterling, Ederson, and Gabriel Jesus.
