Courtois named player of the week in Champions

Thibaut Courtois, Real Madrid's goalkeeper, was named the best player of the week in the Champions League. The keeper beat competition from Bernardo Silva, Luis Díaz and Coquelin.

The performance of the 'keeper' of the Merengues did not go unnoticed and earned him the award for best player of the week.

Bernardo Silva (City), Luis Díaz (Liverpool) and Coquelin (Villarreal) were also competing for the prize. Coquelin and Luís Díaz scored in the semi-final matches, while the Portuguese midfielder provided the assist for Mahrez's goal.
