Cristiano Ronaldo would miss Atalanta’s match

Cristiano Ronaldo is out of Juventus’ line up against Atalanta which will take place on Sunday in Serie A’s race for Champions League qualification. Manager Andrea Pirlo shared that the star is suffering from an injury to his flexor and has named Paulo Dybala as his replacement in the lineup. The Italian team is hoping that the 36-year-old would join the team on Wednesday when they play against Parma.

The star has been a permanent player for the team and so far in the season has missed just 3 league matches and remains in contention for Serie A’s top scorer this season with 25 goals while Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku follows him in the second spot three goals behind. Former Serie A MVP player’s current season was plagued by injuries and he has missed 19 matches for the team after picking up an injury in January but Dybala’s return would be a boost for the team.
