Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed he lost a bet with his manager Massimiliano Allegri after missing a penalty against Chievo in Serie A.
Ronaldo, 33, currently leads the scoring charts for Juve and in Serie A with 14 goals in 20 league outings but during the recent 3-0 win over Chievo, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner missed his first-spot kick for the club.
After holding a 100% record with four penalties, the Portugal captain conceded he cost himself a bet he made with Allegri during the pre-season.
"It's true I had a bet with my coach on scoring every penalty this season", said Ronaldo, as per The Independent.
Over his illustrious career, Ronaldo holds a record of scoring 108 from a possible 130 for a success rate of 83 per cent.
