Crystal Palace won their second consecutive Premier League match and extended their unbeaten run to six games with a 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers. Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher scored the goals. Both teams came into the game in strong form, but the first half at Selhurst Park was abysmal, with neither side generating a chance worthy of the term.
Things improved after the half, as Zaha broke the deadlock just past the hour mark after being sent in by James McArthur the goal was first disallowed for offside but was allowed following a VAR check. Impressive Gallagher, a Chelsea loanee, sealed the win in the 78th minute with a beautiful left-footed effort into the corner. Wolves' five-match unbeaten run in the league came to an end as they were unable to break through a well-organized Palace backline and rarely looked a goal danger.
