Darwin Núñez's warning: "Our goal is to win the World Cup"

Uruguay is one of Portugal's opponents in group H of Mundial'2022, a team that has ex-Benfica player Darwin Núñez in its ranks. Speaking to ESPN, the Liverpool striker assured that the Uruguayans will fight to win the World Cup.

"We want to go far, our objective is to win the World Cup. But we started the first game against South Korea, the first objective is to beat them", said the Uruguayan international.

Fulfilling a childhood dream, Darwin Núñez will be joined in attack by Edinson Cavani and Luis Suárez, promising to learn a lot from the advanced veterans.

"A few years ago I was watching them on television and today I'm here with all the 'beasts'. I'm happy with this moment. The time has come to continue working, this has just started for me. With humility and feet on the ground , it is possible to go far.
