David De Gea echoes Paul Pogba's comments about United's form

David de Gea has led a rousing response to Manchester United’s latest defeat by calling for him and his team-mates to “fight for this shirt”.

United suffered a chastening defeat on the road at Leicester City on Saturday which has led to further questions over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position as manager.

Having been tipped as potential title contenders after making some high-profile additions during the summer transfer window – including the return of Cristiano Ronaldo – United have somewhat flattered to deceive so far this season.

Their defeat at the King Power Stadium was their second in three Premier League games, leaving them five points adrift of leaders Chelsea, while they suffered an embarrassing defeat at Young Boys in the Champions League, having also been knocked out of the Carabao Cup by West Ham.
