With the likes of Chelsea and Man United ready to pounce and snatch Declan Rice in the upcoming summer transfer window, David Moyes has adopted Tottenham’s Harry Kane strategy. When Kane’s news of departure hit the market the community was abuzz, but Hotspurs’ smart strategy kept the player from completing a move as they rejected bids below the asking price.
David Moyes stated last year rivals missed out on the £100m bargain for Rice and now they demand a price upwards of £150million for the player. Rice’s demand has increased over the year after the successful Euro 2020 campaign where he emerged as England's best player. Moyes believes the hefty price is worth it as Rice has been a standout player for the side for years now.
