David Raya, a target for Chelsea, is willing to join Manchester United
Manchester United joins the Blues as they express interest in the services of David Raya. The shot-stopper for Brentford, who is 27 years old, has been in outstanding form lately. Progressing through the Blackburn Rovers ranks before joining Brentford in the 2019 summer. He has gone from strength to strength since joining the Bees. The 150 games the Spanish international has played in for the English club have resulted in 51 clean sheets. The 27-year-old goalkeeper has nine clean sheets in 27 Premier League outings in the ongoing season. With 42 points, Brentford is currently ranked eighth in the league thanks in large part to him and are shooting for a top-six finish this season.
While Erik ten Hag, United’s new manager, is eager to add David De Gea to the team, he also wants to sign Raya. Ten Hag is eager to bring in a goalkeeper who can compete with De Gea and eventually replace him as their starter.
