The Blaugrana, along with Real Madrid, are rumoured to have submitted their concept for the 20-year-old centre-back. His agency and father are presently touring interested teams in England and Spain.

According to reports, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal have followed suit since they are also interested in acquiring the Spanish defender who was born in the Netherlands. Bournemouth has said that any interested team must trigger Huijsen's £50 million (€58 million) release clause in order to sign him. The sum can be paid over the course of 18 months in three installments.
