Delneri to make Romanian return?

Delneri has been out of work since leaving Udinese in November 2017, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims he could make a comeback in Romania.

That would be because FCSB want him to fill their managerial vacancy.

Despite not having Steaua Bucharest in their name, the capital club are recognised by UEFA as descendants of the 1986 European Cup winners.

However, Digi Sport claims the 68-year-old has instead been offered to the side as opposed to receiving a proposal from them.

Furthermore, sporting director Narcis Raducan admitted an interview with the broadcaster yesterday that he expected FCSB to appoint a Romanian Coach.

Delneri is much travelled as a tactician, having also managed the likes of Porto, Sampdoria, Genoa, Verona and Udinese.
