Deschamps after France's draw: "We weren't rewarded"

Moments after France's draw with Austria (1-1), Didier Deschamps showed that he was satisfied with the performance and considered that the players were not rewarded in the result.

"Overall, I'm satisfied. It was a defense and an attack in the second half. The players should have been rewarded for the result. We weren't rewarded, that's the truth. We had total control in the second half. It certainly lacked efficiency, it's a shame", he began by saying after the game, in statements to L'Équipe.

The option of putting Mbappé on the line in the second half was also commented on by the French coach.
