Dortmund beats Leverkusen, 5-2

The Bundesliga fans expected a bigger fight from Dortmund as they faced Bayer Leverkusen but fell instead with 5-2. Dortmund’s defence seemed sluggish in the Bundesliga matches but they still managed to post wins. But Leverkusen took advantage of struggling Dortmund as their powerful attack took over in the seven-goal thriller. Dan-Axel Zagadou's mistake cost the team a lot later.

Further without Erling Haaland, Dortmund’s attack lacked teeth as well and had high expectations from Donyell Malen, who failed to make an impact in the starting 45 minutes of play. Rose then brought in Youssoufa Moukoko and Steffan Tigges at 79 minutes to change things around but failed to make that happen and Dortmund slips 9 points behind Bayern.
