Dreams FC humble Aduana Stars in Dawu

Dreams FC defeated Aduana FC 3-1 at Dawu Park to round up match-day 14 of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Monday.

The Still Believe Boys took a three-goal lead before the two-time league champions grabbed a consolation goal a minute from time.

The two sides had to endure playing on a terrible pitch at Dawu but it was the hosts who managed to ensure the first half would not end barren by scoring in the 44th minute through striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah.

Agyenim registered his brace in the 76th minute after fighting his way through the Aduana backline.

In the 86th minute, Samuel Boakye scored to put Dreams 3-0 up with his first touch after coming off the bench to replace two-goal hero Agyenim Boateng.

Bright Adjei got Aduana’s goal in the 89th minute.

The 3-1 triumph means Dreams FC move to 8th position and tied with Hearts of Oak and Karela on 20 points.

Aduana FC remain in second position with 24 points from 14 matches.
