Borussia Dortmund now holds an edge over Eintracht Frankfurt after the team was held back to a 1-1 home draw against Mainz. BVB beat RB Leipzig by 3-2 on Saturday and secured their fourth-place finish with 58 points from 32 runs while Frankfurt with the draw is 57 points off their 32 matches as the battle for a top-four finish in Bundesliga would now be concluded on the final weekend of the season.

Ajdin Hrustic scored in the 86th minute and salvaged a point by forcing a draw against visiting Mainz, who went ahead at the 11minute with a low shot by Karim Onisiwo.
