Elizabeth II's death forces Rangers to postpone Champions League game

Rangers announced, in the form of a statement issued through official platforms early Sunday afternoon, that the meeting with Napoli will take place tomorrow, at 8:00 pm and not today, as planned.

The Scottish team justifies the postponement of the matchday two match of the Champions League group stage with the "severe limitations of police resources and organizational challenges" posed by the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

"Rangers recognize, of course, that this change of tava will be an inconvenience to many of our loyal fans, and refunds will be made available to those who are unable to attend the game."

"No foreign fans will be present, allowing more tickets to be made available for MyGers members as a priority. UEFA has also confirmed that, for reasons of sporting integrity, Rangers supporters will not be allowed in the game in Napoli."
