Empoli stuns Napoli to 1-0 defeat

At Naples, Patrick Cutrone fired a goal with 20 minutes to go as the promoted Empoli side took down Napoli who are making a play for their first title since the days of Diego Maradona. Napoli tried their best to win the match and it was unfortunate they lost the match after making 30 shots. Eljif Elmas struck the bar in the first half and Juan Jesus’s efforts were ruled out as offside and nine minutes later Cutrone's winner was in the net.

Napoli, who was at the top of the table before last weekend's matches but Inter now claims the top spot and Atalanta has overlapped Napoli, with their 2-1 win at Verona. Napoli is without most of their key players and is set to meet Milan next.
