EPL: Sarri sent to the stands as Chelsea are frustrated by Burnley

Chelsea couldn't fully capitalise on Manchester United and Arsenal's Sunday afternoon defeats, as they too dropped points at home to Burnley.

The Blues are now one point ahead of Arsenal and three ahead of United in fourth place, but would have expected to finish Monday evening with a larger advantage. Burnley, though, proved a tough prospect at Stanford Bridge and the visitors went ahead after just eight minutes when Jeff Hendrick volleyed past Kepa.

Two goals in quick succession from N'Golo Kanté and Gonzalo Higuain turned the match on its head, but Ashley Barnes was able to make it 2-2 midway through the first half.

Chelsea couldn't find a way past the solid Burnley defence over the rest of the first half or in the second 45 minutes. It was a frustrating night for Maurizio Sarri, even more so as he was sent to the stands in stoppage time.
