Manchester City defender Eric Garcia has confirmed a move to Barcelona after his contract expires next month. He would be joining Barca in the free transfer window after being linked with the Catalan giants for a while now. The 20-year-old gave all the speculations a solid form and would sign a contract to that effect soon as well. Garcia had spent a decade with the Blaugrana in the academy and would relive his time after joining his compatriot Gerard Pique next term. Garcia has been with the Cityzens for three years now and has just made 35 appearances across the competition.
Despite having the skills he could not compete with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake who were preferred over him. He would be joining Barca with a lot of expectations after being a regular for the Spanish national side under Luis Enrique. Garcia is valued at £18 million by City currently.
