Erling Haaland scored two goals and assisted another as Borussia Dortmund came from behind many times to defeat Bayer Leverkusen 4-3 in a thrilling Bundesliga encounter. Florian Wirtz opened the score for Leverkusen with a toe-poke in the ninth minute, but attacker Haaland leveled with a thunderous header in the 37th before Dortmund's Jude Bellingham had a second called out for a foul in the build-up.
Patrik Schick scored in first-half stoppage time to put Leverkusen ahead 2-1, and there was no let-up after that. Julian Brandt leveled again in the 49th minute, skillfully handling Haaland's pass with his heel before blasting the ball into the roof of the net, but Leverkusen took the lead again six minutes later through Moussa Diaby's strike from the edge of the box.
