Everton and Burnley drew 1-1

Calvert-Lewin scored for Everton to ensure Burnley didn’t walk away with the victory as their defensive issues still remain significant this season. Robbie Brady put Burnley ahead at the start of the game with an assist from Ashley Westwood but the close-range hit by Dominic Calvert-Lewin working off an assist by Richarlison proved how much of a threat he really is. Calvert-Lewin scored with minutes remaining in the second half across Nick Pope, grabbing his 11th league goal of the season to level the score with Burnley. The striker failed to score many times during the night as he was hoping to double his score. While Burnley on the other hand was good at creating opportunities for themselves they could not convert the same.

At the end of the game, Carlo Ancelotti appreciated the efforts of Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison who put on a good performance even though they could not win, walking away with a point is the next best thing.
