Tarkowski would be Everton’s first signing of the summer. The Turf Moor defender joined the free agency only a week back and has already nailed down a new home in a four-year deal at Goodison Park.
Everton raised a lot of funds with Richarlison’s recent sale to Tottenham, which was a relief to the side that was running into losses worth £370million over the last three financial years. Tarkowski works with players it was evident in his partnership with Ben Mee during the six-year stint with Burnley. He made 194 Premier League appearances with the team after moving from Brentford. Frank Lampard hopes with Tarkowski they can improve their defence next season.
