Everton is nearing an agreement to sign a 26-year-old player from Leeds United

Prior to the deadline, Everton is making a push to acquire Jack Harrison of Leeds United as Sean Dyche aims to strengthen his team's offensive options. The Premier League team is looking for forward reinforcements after a challenging season last time around, in which the Toffees nearly avoided relegation to the Championship on the last day, to make sure they aren't in the same scenario again.

Arnaut Danjuma's contract has been signed, but the 1-0 loss to Fulham at home on the first day of the season showed that more work has to be done. Recently, Everton has been connected with a number of attacking players, including Willy Gnonto of Leeds, who is attempting to transfer to Goodison Park. While that transaction is ongoing, it looks that a deal for Harrison, another member of the Whites, is also moving forward.
