Everton keep their eyes set on Midfielder with Expiring Deal

Everton manager Rafael Benitez has set his sight on Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff who is set to join the transfer market in the summer. Benitez wants to make additions to the squad in the winter transfer window but they would have to do that with a limited budget this time.

This limits their options as well with Monaco’s Aleksandr Golovin on the prospect list and Longstaff as well. Benitez still admires the midfielder he managed at Newcastle and has been monitoring his progress ever since and his chances at Newcastle seem limited, his future is uncertain, and remains to be seen whether Everton would make a move in January or try to sign him in a free transfer next summer.
