West Ham have brought in Kurt Zouma and Nikola Vlasic over the last four days and David James believes the deals are exactly what the Hammers needed.
Vlasic has signed for the Hammers from CSKA Moscow in a £25.7m move with a potential £7.7m in add-ons.
Vlasic is returning to the Premier League following a spell with Everton between 2017 and 2019 after signing as a 19-year-old. Now 23, the Croatia international is an experienced player with 26 caps and eight seasons worth of appearances in European competition in both the Europa League and Champions League.
